The added value of painting and drawing, in this case art on paper, lies in the possibility of creating completely new images. Loose fragments of personal ideas and images form the starting points for these visualizations, after they have been mentally deconstructed. Thus, a subject can be looked at under the skin to learn even more about its internal logic. For the creation process of my paintings and drawings I prefer to mix materials. This mix makes it possible to work in layers and to have surprising outcomes. As an artist I spend a lot of energy on the gradations and elaboration of my themes. Creating artistic singularities in an increasingly standardized world makes liberating revelations possible. Each work of art is provided with an authentic signed studio stamp with the artist’s signature.
