‘Timbre’ is an abstract and geometric painting, executed in oil on canvas. The work features a structured, rhythmic composition that forms a fan-shaped and linear pattern and seems to simulate musical sound. The main colours grey-blue, black and purple bring strength and depth to the work. With influences from Futurism and Deco-glamor, it combines a sense of elegance and movement. Inspirations from Luc Peire and Lucio Fontana are not far away in the refined lines and spatial references.

The added value of painting and drawing lies in the ability to create totally new images.
